Save Time and Money
Designed for working adults with some college credit or on-the-job experience, UW Flexible Option breaks free from rigid semester schedules. Start any month, move at your own pace, and test whenever you’re ready. You can also use your current knowledge and prior experience to progress toward your degree—which may help save you time and money.
Gain Useful Skills
While traditional programs require students to sit through classes to accumulate credit-hours, UW Flexible Option’s competency-based format is all about what you know and are able to do. You’ll make progress by completing assessments or projects that prove you’ve mastered competencies—the skills and knowledge UW faculty and industry leaders have identified as essential to your chosen degree or certificate.
Get the Support You Need
An Academic Success Coach (ASC) will be there to guide you every step of the way. Your dedicated ASC will work with you to understand your goals, personalize your learning plans, and direct you to the learning resources you need to succeed in your program.
