Credit Overload Policy

Beginning with the January 2026 subscription period, students who wish to enroll in 19 or more credits at UW Milwaukee or 21 or more credits at UW Parkside must request a credit overload. PAWS allows students to self-enroll in up to18 credits per subscription period, and SOLAR allows up to 20. To take additional credits, please talk to your Success Coach to obtain a Credit Overload form for your campus and to learn next steps.
