Deciding to go back to school is a big decision, and you want to make sure you choose a program that’s right for you. That’s why summer is the perfect time to try the UW Flexible Option. In the span of a summer, you could be on your way to earning your bachelor’s degree or certificate. Here are three things to consider before you dip your toes in the water.
1. You can ease into competency-based learning.
Our competency-based programs are specifically designed to fit the lives of busy adults, so they’re unique by design. If you’ve been out of school for a while or have never tried online classes, signing up for summer is a great way to test out the UW Flexible Option format without getting locked into a traditional semester course load.
With the UW Flexible Option, you can get started at the beginning of any month you choose. And, our flexible format means summer enrollment won’t keep you stuck inside–so you can make progress toward your degree or certificate and still enjoy the beautiful season.
2. It’s not too late to start this summer.
Our admissions process is quick: simply apply at least one month in advance of your desired start date. Let’s say you’d like to start in July. Talk with one of our enrollment advisers today to get all of your questions answered–that way you’ll be ready to apply and start your program this summer.
