The schedule also provides institutions with legal authorization to dispose of records eligible for disposition on a regularly scheduled basis after the minimum retention periods are met.
Transcripts
Your transcript is a record of courses taken and grades earned during your course of study.
- Official transcripts play a crucial role in various situations, such as transferring to another institution, applying to graduate or professional schools, or providing an official record of earned credits, grades, and credentials. These transcripts can be sent in either physical copy or digital PDF format, depending on the requirements or preferences of the receiving institution or organization.
- Unofficial transcripts are accessible for currently enrolled students through their home campus self-service Student Information System.
Links to Campus Partners Transcript Ordering Process:
- UW-Milwaukee – $12 per official transcript | Unofficial free for currently enrolled students
- UW-Parkside – $12 per official transcript | Unofficial free for currently enrolled students
- Former UW Colleges*– $9 per official transcript | Unofficial not available
- Independent Learning (IL) – Free Official Transcripts (additional charges for overnight rush requests)
Note:
